We will deliver your VPS server with the requested Operating System at signup. We manually check each order is provisioned correctly and assign any additional IPs. You can reinstall your NVMe VPS Server to a different Operating System or start with a fresh install in one of two ways.
Reinstall from the client area
You can deploy a new OS to your VPS from the client area. Click “Services” then “My Services” and select the VPS you want to reinstall. You can also click https://account.first2host.co.uk/clientarea.php?action=services
At the bottom of the page under “Additional Tools” click “Rebuild”. Choose your required OS and click rebuild at the bottom of the page. Allow up to 5 minutes for the reinstall to complete as the server will also update to the latest version.
Reinstall from the VPS Control panel
Reinstalling from the VPS control panel is also quick and easy. Login to your account at https://vps.first2host.co.uk and click the “Manage” button next to the VPS that you would like to reinstall. Select the request OS and click the “Reinstall” button. Allow 5 minutes for the process to complete as the server will also update on first boot.
Configure Additional IPs
If you have a KVM NVMe VPS with additional IPs, after reinstalling you will need to set up any additional IPs. We provide an automated way of doing this. Check out the following post. https://blog.first2host.co.uk/automatically-setup-additional-ips/
